Stories on Demand Help Ease Wait

24 November 2010: The dull wait for the bus is over thanks to Thai publishing company, A Book. Knowing that people are often very bored in public places or in transit, the company has given commuters something more interesting to do while they wait. Users are being given short stories or book synopses through various media portals to help make the wait more tolerable. The Content is available in five different ways – by SMS, on printed stickers, through a widget, on placemats and even through a printout machine reminiscent of queue tickets. The campaign is succeeding in not only encouraging people to read, but read A Book published works.
